On the 15^th of May 2015 at the LLC TH «Moreproduct» took place the second planned supervisory audit according to the agreement with the certification Centre «Bureau Veritas» in Kiev according to the system of food safety management and its accordance to the demands of the international standard ISO-22000.

      The supervisory audit was held by the certification Centre «Bureau Veritas» representative – Erchenko Elena Anatolyevna.

During the arrangement mentioned above under the scrupulous examination was the following:

• basic programs of food safety provision;
• verification measures concerning the confirmation and giving the objective evidence of following the demands of the international standard ISO-22000 while dealing with the products;
• selection and training of personnel and its compliance with the standard ІSO-22000;
• documenting the provisions of the security policy, the objectives in the field of food safety and their actual implementation;
• planning of food safety management system for the current period;
• implementation of hazard analysis in order to guarantee food safety;
• complex of measures while dealing with nonconforming product;
• actual compliance with the conditions and requirements of food safety standards ISO- 22000 for storage of food products.

        During the supervisory audit certain sides of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» activity were represented by:

• enterprise director – Bernatskyi A.V.;
• food safety team leader, Chief Engineer Belyanovskyi A.N.;
• director of logistics and warehouse operation Rad`ko S.N.;
• office-manager Pichugina S.P.

       In the result of the audit that was held the implementation by LLC TH «Moreproduct» all the demands of the international standard of food safety ISO-22000 was confirmed, the certificate is prolonged till June 2016.

       In May 2016 recertification audit is planned to be held, it provides an in-depth inspection of all aspects of food safety management of the LLC TH «Moreproduct».

       In the end of March and in the end of April the cold storage terminal of LLC TH "Moreproduct" was visited by the Norwegian colleagues - representatives of "Pelagia" company: 31.03.2015 - Øyvind Sætren, 27.04.2015 - Øyvind Sætren and Hyttan Sverre, as well as the firm «Eurogal Surveys Ltd/G.S.L (Ukraine)» representative: Postovik Igor Vasilievych.

       The meetings were held in frames of the planned inspection actions, and had business character and were devoted to the technical issues discussion about the cold storage complex usage, as well as documentation needed for the current work discussion.

       After the mutual cold storage cameras inspection, watching of the products that are stored there, the people present exchanged their points of view, impressions, told their offers and remarks.

       The main topic of the agenda was the following: to provide the high level of storage quality for the products in the cold storage cameras of LLC TH Moreproduct, as well as the methods of its possible improvement. The wide range of questions was touched upon, that reveal the practical sense of the term "the qulity of goods storage".

       Severe attention was paid to the discussion, so called "metrological" constitute of this issue. All the participants expressed their professional understanding of the necessity of implementation of such control-measuring procedures as:

• computer graphics of temperature forming and their proper analyses making in terms of each cold storage camera;
• every day temperature assessment in the cameras;
• constant "check" of all instrumentation that are used during the parameters control;
• writing of all the parameters in specially generated journals;
• etc.

         Cold storage complex management in the person of director Bernatskyi A.V. confirmed that the mentioned procedures are always under control, and will be obligatory conducted in the further work.

         During the meeting one more accent that was made touched upon the necessity of the "technical" component in the issue of the quality of goods storage:

• timely after-sales service and repair of the cooling system;
• usage during the repair and service of the technical park only quality materials and "maternal" spare parts;
• usage of the coldstorage pvc. curtains;
• maintaining the diesel generator set in the state of readiness, especially in the summer, in the event of possible disruptions in the supply of electricity;
• etc.

         It was underlined that the technical service of LLC TH "Moreproduct" successfully implements its obligations connected with the support of the effective processing performance of the technical equipment of entire facility. Moreover, a lot of efforts are given to the creation of new methods that aim at the energy efficiency, to improve the efficiency of loading and unloading equipment at optimal resource saving.

         Also, both Ukrainian and Norwegian party underlined the importance of such parameter as «documental» constitute of the issue of quality goods storage, namely:

• written fixatio of all the parameters under control with the certain periodicity;
• register in on-line regime of certain necessary registration journals etc.
• transparency and openness of all procedures performed and protocols;
• frequency of briefings for the warehouse staff;
• training of personnel in the accounting and monitoring of safety products;
• etc. ..

         One more time the participants of the meeting underlined the mutual attention to the questions that should be under the strict control: compliance with the rules, the distances for the storage of products, guarantee food safety standards, the provision of sanitary level. The position of the Ukrainian and Norwegian party in this field is the like - and will always be mutual - the unconditional implementation of the necessary measures and procedures for the implementation of all these rules and regulations. Verification inspections of refrigerating chambers, together with representatives of the company "Pelagia" showed that all regulations strictly provided and always respected.

         The participants of the event stressed that the meeting in such format are rather necessary and very useful, as they help to synchronize the understanding of necessary actions by all parties, to discuss and work out mutual actions connected with certain measures implementation that Cold Storage faces.

         «Pelagia» company representatives left with good impressions after the meetings conducted, they expressed the hope that Ukrainian economy will stabilize and sureness that LLC TH «Moreproduct» cold storage terminal in Nikolayev city port will always be the sample of the enterprise of the europian level.

       On the third and forth of March 2015 in the capital of Estonia – Tallin city the visiting extended session of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» Board was held. From the Ukrainian side there was the Chairman of the Board Igor Kachnyi, from the Norwegian side – the Norway Pelagic AS company representatives: Oddvinn Sorhaug and Vladymir Kalugin.

       This business meeting was the planned event, the aim of which was summarizing of the results of cold storage terminal in the past working year and discussion of plans for the further period. Accordingly, on the agenda were the thematic issues:

1.   Analysis of economic performance of LLC TH «Moreproduct» for the year 2014.
2.   Consideration and approval of the budget - 2015.
3.   Analysis of the technical service work in 2014 and prospects for 2015.
4.   Discussion of the budget in the long term - for the period 2015-2018.

       The present members of the Board carefully studied the report of the refrigeration complex for 2014, made comparative analysis of the level of actual performance of the company 2009-2014, spoke on current issues and exchanged views.   

       All the meeting participants agree that the economic situation of Ukraine is far from being simple. But the company management undertakes the most correct and appropriate decisions on all current issues.Because of this, cold storage terminal in Nikolaev seaport continues to steadily carry out tasks on acceptance, storage, shipment of fishery products imported from Norway. There remains a rhythm of current and capital repairs of all process equipment, met absolutely all regulations on occupational health and safety are available in full all social guarantees. On this basis, the positive evaluation of special cold storage work in 2014 was decided unanimously.

       Also the further perspectives of cold storage port complex work for the period 2015-2018 were outlined. And high professionalism, as well as extensive experience in solving complex economic problems, provide the company's management with confidence that our plans will be realized.

       As it was mentioned above the visiting session took place in Tallin – the capital of Estonia. That`s why we can`t but mention that Tallin and Kiev are twin cities, and our countries are connected on the certain period of time in the history. And Estonia is an example of how to overcome the challenges facing Ukraine today.

       The LLC TH «Moreproduct» cold storage is situated in the Nikolayev city, name in the favor of the patron saint of seafarers - St. Nicholas, and it is a pleasure to know that in Tallin St. Nicholas Church (Niguliste) and the church of Nicholas Priory are the historic monuments.

       St. Nicholas Church (Niguliste) in Tallin was founded by German merchants in the XIII century. At his own expense settlers erected a chapel, consecrated it in honor of St. Nicholas, who was revered as the patron saint of sailors and merchants.

       Church of Nicholas the Priory is the oldest Orthodox church in Tallinn. Estonians say that in this saint place hopes and requests all of the parishioners who have applied for help to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker come true.

        On 27.02.2015 LLC TH `Moreproduct` company met the guests: the delegation of representative of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Ukraine, coordinator of business and commerce - Dmitry Pankratov, and famous Norwegian journalist and editor, adviser of many media projects - Kjetil Haanes.

         This visit took place within the extended monitoring visit of representatives of Norway, the aim of which was to assess the real situation in Ukraine in the sphere of fishery products trade imported from Norway.The trip went through the cities, which are concentrated in the main cold storage warehouses for production, storage and further shipment of Norwegian fish products throughout Ukraine: Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Odessa.

         Because of the fact that the representatives of Norwegian delegation were present in the Nikolayev city with such a visit for the first time, the company management organized short presentation: about the establishment and operation of the cold storage terminal in Nikolaev seaport, its successes and achievements. During the conversation the guests from the Norwegian delegation, the director and senior managers of the customs warehouse complex exchanged views on many issues, and also spoke about the prospects of further work of the port fishery terminal.

         Norway is closely connected with Ukraine by economic and trade links, which are just clearly demonstrated in the realized and went into operation in 2009, the investment project in Nikolaev seaport - Specialized distributive cold storage. Therefore, friendly Norway with great attention monitors, analyses the state of economic performance of the Ukrainian economy: at the level of interaction between government delegations, and at the level of joint forums, business meetings, as well as such monitoring trips.

         Norwegian representatives with great interest got acquainted with the technological equipment used at the facility; construction and operation of cold stores; full cycle of acceptance, storage, shipment of goods, etc. Also the respected guests were presented the short information about the work of Nikolaev sea port, about the mutually beneficial partnership with located on its territory enterprises: processing oil, metal, bulk materials, grain and oil crops and others.

         The two sides held a meeting in solidarity of the opinion that such events are a catalyst for the future Norwegian-Ukrainian investment decisions, the choice of business strategies in Ukraine in already implemented joint projects.

         Obviously, the difficult situation in the Ukrainian economy with a huge rebound affects not only government agencies, but also all other, more independent companies, and even more so - joint venture investment. Therefore, LLC TH `Moreproduct` management and Norwegian guests discussed the global problems that do not allow the cold storage terminal in Nikolaev seaport to work in full force and increase the volume of processed goods. And most important of them: while there is no peace in the financial markets, there is no complete stabilization of the currency market and protraction of the conflict in the eastern regions also doesn`t contribute to this.

         But the coordinator in terms of business and trade Dmitriy Pankratov and Norwegian journalist Haanes Kjetil became convinced that despite these difficulties, professional management of the object makes verified solutions that allow to maintain the technological equipment, transport park in necessary condition, as well as to preserve work places, social standards of work payment following all the terms and guarantees.

         From the side of Norwegian guests genuine interest in a full and productive work was shown, this concerns both port cold storage terminal and for sure the whole economy of our country. All the people present at the meeting expressed their hope that the necessary decisions on the way to peace on the East of Ukraine will be found and followed and then, the country, with the help of the European Union and the whole world will conduct the necessary reforms, will quickly restore its potential and will continue its European development.

         On the last week of January (from 26.01.2015 till 31.01.2015) the technical audit of the cold storage equipment was successfully conducted at the cold storage terminal of the LLC TH `Moreproduct`.

        Cooling system of the Special Distributive Cold Storage is a complex structure made by the individual project and consisting of highly technological modern equipment of the leading world companies «Bitzer», «Guntner» etc. The control over the work of the cooling system is made by the system of the microprocessing controllers providing monitoring and complex automation of all the current operations.

        That`s why only specialized organizations, in this case – enterprise `BM Service` being the official representative of the `Baltic Master` company can make the planned annual form of technical service and average repair of the equipment of cooling system.

         In frames of the planned annual audit of the cold storage equipment the `BM Service` specialists and the workers of the LLC TH `Moreproduct` technical service made the huge volume of work. The complex examination of all the links was made: control over the working documentation – according to the norms and the Rules of exploitation of Freon cooling equipment; accordance of the daily made by the operatring staff technical procedures with the Instructions and Rules of exploitation of cooling system; a thorough examination of all the hardware components that comprise a single cooling circuit. At the same time all parts of the refrigeration system are checked for leaks, for compliance with the parameters of operating modes to the main base standards.

        The works were made after compressor operating 8 000 hours for six years. The list of programmed activities and terms of reference for the audit were carried out completely. After the end of technical audit in the outcome the positive mark of terminal service was stated: the technical condition of the low-temperature vapor compression systems of LLC TH `Moreproduct` meets all the requirements of the Operating Instructions, the current system of the organization of operation of refrigeration equipment, the state of equipment and qualified personnel provide reliable level of performance of low-temperature vapor compression system of LLC TH `Moreproduct`.

       Outside the window – December, calendar counts down the last days of the year, and every enterprise, labour team summarizes the results of their work and makes plans for the future.

      That`s why in the beginning of December (03.12.2014 - 05.12.2014) in Bergen city (Norway) there was held the meeting of the shareholders of the LLC TH «MoreProduct» Cold storage – Norwegian and Ukrainian partners. The participants of the meeting – are Pelagia company representatives: Egil Magne Haugstad, Oddvinn Sorhaug, Oyvind Saetren and LLC TH «MoreProduct» Chairman – Igor Kachnyi. They analyzed the results of work for the past year and discussed the strategy for 2015. It is indisputable that year 2014 was not easy – both for the whole country, and for any company in particular. But, despite the complexity of the economic situation, such factors as proper planning, unwavering consistency and quality execution of the tasks,became key ones for obtaining the positive results of Cold Storage complex work.

       During the meeting general managers of the company once more confirmed their intensions: overcoming the objective economic difficulties – to look for opportunities to increase the volume of processed goods; implement plans to reduce costs through energy savings, modernization of production, and increase of productivity; create conditions for the preservation of the workforce, provision of social guarantees for workers.

       After the official meetings Ukrainian delegation devoted time to the tour activities, that were organized by the hospitable Norwegian colleagues. And despite the fact that Igor Kachnyi has already visited Norway and is acquainted with Bergen, he considers that the sights of this city are worthy of repeated attention.

       Norway itself as well as its fanous city Bergen are very beautiful and charismatic. For to-day Bergen is an important trading center and the largest port in Northern Europe, it is the second largest city after Oslo, that for some time was also the capital of Norway. Ukrainian guests gladly visit the main attractions of Bergen:

1)  Funicular Floibanen – road from the city center to the top of the mountain Floyen, 320 meters above sea level, with a magnificent view of the city, mountains, fjords and sea waves;

2)   Old Town - Hanseatic Bryggen quarter, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, comprising 61 old wooden house in all colors of the rainbow in the city center;;

3)  Fish Market - Located in the heart of the city on Torget Square, where the abundance of marine fish products can surprise even seasoned fish lovers. Here you can buy oysters, octopus, shrimp, stingrays, lobsters, salmon, crab, lobster, etc., and even whale meat, as well as all kinds of ready-made seafood.

       And jointly pointed during the meeting plans of the Ukrainian-Norwegian collaboration concerning increase of fish products supply to the Cold Storage Sea Port Terminal of the LLC TH «Moreproduct», approximate reality of the fact that soon the seafood assortment in Nikolayev city and other Ukrainian cities would be as much various as on the Fish Market in Norwegian city Bergen.

       On the 10^th of December 2014 there was the meeting held in Mykolayiv Regional Administration under the governance of the first vice-governor Romanchuk N.P. with the participating of the Chief Inspectorate Gosenergonadzor in the Mykolaiv region Galata E.A. dedicated to the questions of the limitation of energy consumption.

       At the meeting were present all the leaders of the city districts, managers and chief energy managers of the industrial enterprises. Also were invited the representatives of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» cold storage terminal as the enterprise that is in the list of the major «Nikolaevoblenergo» consumers. In the meeting participated Chief engineer of the company – Belyanovskyi A.N.

       As it was said earlier, from the 1 of December all over Ukraine, including Nikolaev region, were applied graphics of power outages due to power shortages in the united energy system of Ukraine and in order to meet stringent targets for the limitation of power consumption.

        Therefore, at the meeting held in the main point of this issue was the question of the development of suitable solutions for major industrial enterprises of Mykolaiv region in terms of reducing the generating capacity of up to 30%. In order not to turn off the electricity to the facilities of the social sphere and completely stop the production, large consumers were encouraged to reduce the burden to a minimum, especially in the afternoon and evening rush hours. At this stage, it should be a major task for power engineers, technical directors, heads of enterprises.

       Among other proposals, the final protocol of the meeting included LLC TH «Moreproduct» offer to minimize the consequences for industrial customers concerning the reduction of electricity consumption in winter (such as - penalties for exceeding the limit power in the hours of the morning and evening peak).

       It is necessary to point out that LLC TH «Moreproduct» management beforehand thought out the measures in case of power outage of the cold storage terminal, that allow to minimize the negative consequences in the situation of the energy reduction: since 2011 redundant power supply system is made for the uninterrupted supply of the required temperature in cameras. The company has installed a backup diesel generator with a long service life, providing independent power supply of the cold storage terminal.

       It becomes an integral tradition: after the arrival of the vessels with Norwegian fish to the LLC TH «Moreproduct» Nikolayev city sea trade port, the colleagues from Norway, supervising shipping and handling ship consignments, come to the cold storage complex with a friendly visit.

       The same on the 08.12.2014 – while «Green Cооler» is on the dock with open unloading holds, the meeting of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» director – Alexander Bernatskyi with «Green Shipping» company representatives - Cato Eide and Nicklas Frans Vestman, as well as the «Green Cооler» captain - Zdzislaw Zielinski was held.

       In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere Norwegian colleagues shared their professional surveillance concerning the following issues: organization of cargo operations at berth, the interaction of all technological services, compliance with procedures and regulations.

       During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on many mutually interesting moments, touched upon both questions of the cold storage functioning in Nikolayev city port, and issues connected with the organization of quality delivery of marine cargo from Norway to Ukraine.

       In particular, they discussed the questions of the optimization of goods warehousing on board at the beginning of its loading, because its quick and quality processing near berth depends on this. It is a joint point of view of all meeting participants that compliance problem lay time during unloading of the vessel depends on the quality palletizing cargo, that`s why this parameter is a basic one.

     Alexander Bernatskyi, being a deputy of Nikolaev City Council, with the great interest listened to the information from the Norwegian team representatives concerning the fact how quickly and quality an imported cargo comes through the necessary procedures, how friendly and comfortable goes the communication of all Norwegian employees with Ukrainian services involved in the vessel processing. Live view on these issues from the direct participants of these actions is very important because it hides the answer to the question: «Whether Norwegian companies want to increase their investment in the economy of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region's economy? Are there the appropriate conditions for this?».

     These meetings are necessary and rather useful, because they cover not only production issues, representing mutual interest, but also contribute to a better understanding of the specifics of trade relations between the two friendly countries – Ukraine and Norway.

       The conflict in eastern Ukraine prompted the ordinary citizens to focus their efforts on helping the Ukrainian army and internally displaced people. Because everyone understands that government structures designed to deal with these issues, unfortunately, cannot cope, and without help of citizens we cannot do here.

       The war on our east, probably for all of us, has placed life priorities in another way: what previously seemed to be the main - faded into the background, and what was not very important – became the most valuable. In the country many "initiatives of help" of different scales appeared: from businesses, volunteer groups, labor groups, to ordinary citizens. From the purchase of uniforms for the soldiers ATO to televisions, from the acquisition of drugs and "first aid" cars for the victims to the organization of a tolerable life for internally forced migrants in all regions of the country.

       Help for the army consists of small deposits of small and medium-sized enterprises, of every individual, simple Ukrainian people.    Each "drop" fills the "ocean".    LLC TH `MoreProduct` headed by the Chief has never stayed away in the issues concerning providing of charitable, material and financial support in solving social problems of the residents of the city of Nikolayev. Therefore, today especially, the head of the company and personally every of employees not once took the initiative and is involved in the action of help to the army and internally forced migrants.

       Somebody may fend off challenges and keep calm in a way – I don`t decide anything and can hardly influence something. But another person, asking himself – what personally I can do, how can I help – finally finds reserves and, even during this, economically challenging time, provides all possible assistance to Ukrainian soldiers, as well as people displaced from the regions affected by war.

       As well as the majority of ordinary people of Ukraine, LLC TH MoreProduct workers can`t allow themselves big expenses. But we find the ways because of our desire to render all possible assistance: to specific combatant Ivan Markovskyi, who was drafted to the ATO area from our working team; certain port worker Andrei Nikolayevich Brizhatyi, who became Donetsk "cyborg", whom we often talked to concerning working matters; to certain military brigade №79 from native city of Nikolayev ...

      And our decision – to help combatants on the front and civilians on Donbas – is not influenced by either age, or position, or social state. Because every of workers faced the problems because of this senseless war, - have suffered and continue to suffer loved ones, acquaintances, friends. Both rel;atives – civilians: parents in Gorlovka, Kramatorsk, children in Donetsk…, as well as male soldiers - heads of families: son who appeared in hospital right after battles near Illovaysk and returning to the ATO area now; in-law, who left almost immediately from the registry office in their "honeymoon" to this undeclared war, nice guy from the workforce - the driver of the truck brigade №1...

       What do 100-200uah mean to every of us? Somebody spends it `for coffee`, somebody makes manicure… But even a small help is meaningful for somebody.

       Here is an example: «Wife and two children pass a great `thank you` to everybody for bulletproof vest and dad alive. +1 life. After a hike in the exploration. Yes, friends, helping the army, we are saving someone's life and struggle for the future of the country», - reports in his facebook page Vitaly Umanets, curator of the group `AutoMaidan for Army`.

      "Give Life to soldier" ... If we are not indifferent, we can save the lives of many ...

       On the 8^th of October the representatives of the Norwegian company «Рelagia AS» – Øyvind Sætren and Pawel Solovyov– visited port cold storage complex of LLC TH «MoreProduct». «Рelagia AS» headquartered in Bergen city (Norway) was formed in 2014 by the merger of several Norway's largest companies well-known throughout the world. These companies deal with the `fish` business: catching, processing and marketing of fishery products.

       Respected guests arrived at Nikolayev sea port with one-day working visit in order to meet the cold storage management, get acquainted with its work and discuss the questions connected with the mutually beneficial cooperation.

       In the conference hall of TH «MoreProduct» administration the Norwegian delegation was shown the presentation: about creation and 5-year successful functioning of the cold storage. During the saturated communication, the guests got acquainted with the base of the modern technical equipment and advanced technologies used in the production cycles when using this complex and also – with undoubted advantages for customers, who get foreign products and use the services of storage on this bonded warehouse.

       The tour around the   Nikolayev sea port   clearly demonstrated to the representatives from Norway "more than successful" location of the cold storage in relation to sea, rail and highways, giving the opportunity to receive and ship products: both by vessel shipments, and railway refrigerated sections and container trucks.

       «Рelagia AS» representatives became convinced that despite the difficult state of the Ukrainian economy, LLC TH «MoreProduct» port terminal confidently continues to provide the planned flows of cargoes. Against the background of the global crisis in the political and economic sphere of the country, regime of stable operation of such a technically complex object again confirms the high level of professionalism and experience of the company's management.

       To-day, when the whole world is affected by various global threats, all pass a test of strength: by our business, decisions, active lifestyle, by hard forwards, overcoming difficulties.

          Once a disciple asked the Master:

            - How long should I wait for the changes for better?

            - In case you`ll - WAIT, it is  – FOR TOO LONG! –answered the Master.

       That`s why to-day`s meeting with the delegation from friendly Norway was aimed at the optimistic plans for future joint projects, generation of upcoming events on mutually beneficial cooperation, discussion of further macro-perspectives.

       Ukraine and Norway – is an inexhaustible potential for cooperation in all fields, and LLC TH «MoreProduct» contributes to it. Ancient mariners have a saying: `I go not where wind blows, but where my sail rides`. There is every reason to believe that the joint Ukrainian-Norwegian project in Nikolayev Sea trading port put its sail right that gives all participants confidence in the future.

       On the 21^st of September during the 36^th session of the UN General Assembly the International Day of Peace was established – by the Resolution № A/RES/36/67 dated the 30^th of November 1981 in which the UN General Assembly «said that third Tuesday of September, the opening day of the regular sessions of the General Assembly is officially dedicated and is celebrated as the International Day of Peace ». The first International Day of Peace was held on the September 1982.

       In 2001 on the 55^th session the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the resolution 55/282 in which stated that starting from 2002 the International Day of Peace will be celebrated annually on 21 September as a day of non-violence and ceasefire.

       For most of people on the Earth peace – is everyday reality. This is when it is calm at our streets; our children go to school, when in the morning the whole family is in a hurry because of work, and on the weekends – going to the cinema. Where the foundations of society are strong, the priceless gift of the world can even not be noticed. But for too many people in the modern world this gift is not more than a myth. They live in an atmosphere of insecurity and fear.

       The year 2014 became a turning time when every of us, and especially the residents of east of the country clearly realized how fragile can the PEACE be and how carefully should we keep it.  

       Every person, no    matter where does he live geographically should come to the deep understanding and awareness that PEACE is not habitat, given to us in perpetuity, not a physical quantity that exists independently of us in space and time. PEACE is a fragile equilibrium state when an infinite number of interests and desires of individuals, organizations, countries can get along, find a compromise and exist as in one huge volumetric puzzle. We are the part of this puzzle, it is around every of us.

          That`s why war and violence can never become a solution of any problem. In case the part was destroyed – the rest can`t be in the previous equilibrium. And the ways to fill the destroyed can be different: revenge and eternal war, despair and self-destruction, forgiveness and creativity. Which way will be chosen depends on the position of each individual, nation, country. In fact it depends on every of us because if you won`t  pass by when committing child abuse – he will have a chance not to become angry and vengeful, his children will have the opportunity to be raised in good loving people and as a result they won`t want to fight, to kill someone.

       UN General Assembly  proclaimed the International Day of Peace as a day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Since then the holiday celebrated annually on the 21^st of September involved millions of people covering many countries and regions. It aims to get people to not only think about peace, but also to do something for it. By their beliefs, their actions, their life example.....

              Peaceful sky for all of us and native land under our feet!

       At the end of March LLC TH «Moreproduct» cold storage complex was visited by one of the Norway Pelagic AS company managers – Martyn Storebo. The aim of his visit was the following – more close insight into this modern marine terminal work, the mutual Ukrainian-norwegian investment project.

       Martin Storebo`s visit was planned in frames of the specific action – vessel from Norway unloading that came with Norwegian products (frozen fish) to the Nikolayev sea port.

      It is well-known that Norway Pelagic AS – is the world leader in pelagic fish (herring, mackerel, capelin) of high quality production. The company controls more than a dozen of modern industrial facilities along the Norwegian coast processing about 50% of all row material unloaded in Norway. Norway Pelagic AS effectively manages fisheries resources in Norwegian waters, has a modern fishing fleet that provides high quality of row material which enjoys wide consumer demand both in Ukraine and whole world.

       LLC TH «Moreproduct» management provided full support to the Norway Pelagic worker in his desire to become more closely acquainted with the specifics of technological processes that occur during the processing of Norwegian cargo, arriving to the cold storage, in the Nikolayev city sea port.

      Together with the Logistics Director, Rad`ko S.N., Norwegian representative boarded the vessel. From the starting point – «hold» and to the end one – «cold storage» he became clearly familiar with the full range of handling, looked through the interaction of all participants of the technological chain: «vessel-bonded LLC TH «Moreproduct» warehouse».

      Chief Engineer of the enterprise, Belyanovskyi A.N., introduced the guests' attention cold storage complex technical equipment, got him acquainted with the work of refrigeration equipment, showed autonomous energy generator, loading and unloading equipment used in work. Directly in cold storages Msartyn Storebo could explore warehousing logistics, temperature regime of storage etc.

       In the final discussion with the Port cold storage management, Norway Pelagic AS manager outlined that he remained satisfied by the results of the business trip as he became convinced in the high level of quality and all phases of receiving and handling efficiency.

       Also the guest visited Nikolayev city sightseeings including our famous zoo. He pointed out that the trip appeared to be both prolific and positive.

       Accounting system with goods bar-coding technology usage is introduced and successfully functions at the Specialized Cold Storage. The latter takes place in order to have quality and most accurate, rapid accounting and goods movement control. Although usage of this system is not a legislative requirement, the company leader, Igor Kachnyi, considers that accounting and control processes modernization at the enterprise contributes to the priority issues implementation, the ones at which he directs the whole working team. The latter are the services given by sea port cold storage terminal that should be of high European quality.

        To-day competitiveness and profitability of any enterprise even more depends on the fact – how quick do the data concerning manufacturing processes come to managers that make important decisions. Only those firms are able to reach really high effectiveness of their activity, that use modern information technologies which give the opportunity to make fast and effective decisions on the basis of the available at any moment information.

       Introduction of accounting system with goods bar-coding technology usage into the company became the logical continuation of the European standards policy implementation. It is important to outline that besides the financial investments that we needed for such modernization implementation, at the LLC TH «Moreproduct» customs warehouse from the very beginning were created and then fixed the following conditions (the ones without which the accounting and control way mentioned above is hardly possible):

• full compliance with labeling requirements of the legislation;
• transparency and legality of all actions and procedures produced at the stock;
• availability of modern software;
• high-level warehousing system;
• systematic documentation that shows cargo consignments movement.

       The advantages of the cargoes auditing system with the bar-coding technology usage helps to improve the quality of services of customs warehouse for its consumers:

• the information processing speed is significantly increasing, the time of clients servicing is reducing;
• the accuracy of information increases, the probability of errors reduces to zero;
• the possibility of any consumer fraud completely eliminates;
• an inventory of all levels is promptly carried out: both local – according to the chosen positions, and sequential – all goods in general;
• labor productivity increases, because time for other functions, concerning warehouse servicing and current work analyses and perfection, releases.

       To-day, in this difficult for Ukraine time, all the events that happen touched everybody of us. Our families faced anxiety and fear. 45 millions of Ukrainians in all regions of the country want the only thing – to raise their children safely, to take care of folks, work and live in peace. We have always been able to find a common language, be friends, love – no matter where we live - in eastern or western, central or southern region. What has happened to us? What have politicians done with us?

       To-day is Forgiveness Sunday, let`s ask each other for forgiveness, let each start with yourself and let`s choose politicians not for the food rations or belonging to one or another party, but for their personal achievements to the community, their moral and business qualities and let us be united and strong!

       Ukraine has always been peaceful and friendly country. That`s why every Ukrainian politician, public figure or other leader, following his community and workforce interests should do their utmost to resolve the conflict peacefully.

       Now we have to forget about all the inner discords, all the Ukrainians have to be united!

      Introduction of Russian troops to the territory of Ukraine may lead to new victims and complete rupture of relations between two countries.

      I am sure that Russian people don`t want to participate in this senseless war, absolutely alien to our fraternal peoples.

      Ukraine faces the choice to protect its integrity and unity or to cease its existance as an independent and sovereign state!!! Our politicians should use all the pieceful methods in order end the conflict, attract Russian and European civil society organizations, political and religious leaders for the dialogue with the Russian president.

      Every citizen should express his unequivocal position – For United Ukraine!!!

     Cessation of hostilities and the integrity of our state! We are for the stabilization of the economic and political situation in the country! We are for normal, quiet and peaceful life in our city and in Ukraine!

         On the 3d of December we celebrate the International Day of Disabled People that was declared by the UN General Assembly in 1992. The annual celebration of this day in Ukraine is stated by the President Decree № 566/93 dated 27.11.1993.

        For sure, we can hardly call this day the festive one, but it underlines the necessity to achieve full equalization of the rights of people with disabilities and their participation in social life. «International Day of Disabled People» - this is the day of summarizing of things that were done for this category of people, analyses of the actual place of people with special needs in society, determination of plans to improve their standard of living.

        In the world more that 650 million people with special physical needs live, this is about 10% of people inhabiting Earth planet, from them – near three millions live in Ukraine…
        Problems of disabled people are similar to each other in every state. They touch upon education, employment, transportation, maintenance, life and social adaptation.

        In Nikolayev city we have 27874 disabled people for the date 01.07.2013, including:

• disabled veterans - 1285 people;
• disabled common disease - 18862 people;
• disabled children (to 18 years) - 1685 people;
• visually Impaired - 561 people;
• disabled industrial injury and occupational diseases - 779 people;
• disabled Army - 156 people;
• disabled children - 4546 people.
• (including wheelchair users- 378 people.)

       Following a government program to support the rights of people with physical and mental disabilities, LLC TH «MoreProduc» consistently meets all regulatory requirements concerning quota of jobs for people with disabilities at the enterprise.

        Besides, as Nikolaev City Council deputies representatives, the company leadership knows for sure about the problems and needs of the disabled people of Nikolayev. At the parliamentary commission they take a direct part in vital issues solving: consider applications of voters with disabilities, outline plans to support disadvantaged groups, monitor the implementation of guarantees and benefits for them.

        Chairman of the Board, I.Kachnyi, has always been actively involved in activities to support this part of population. Depending on forces and opportunities, he provides various types of assistance: urgent housing and communications repairs, targeted financial support, one-year subscription of local newspapers, charitable food parcels etc.   

        But the social adaptation of this category of our fellow citizens is no less important (if not more), that their physical capabilities. These people not only need financial support, but also live communication, where they acquire new friends. They need psychological relief, human participation, self-realization of their creative abilities. Therefore, every year on this day, in the city cinema «Youth» under the support of I.Kachnogo a charity event is held, consisting of cultural and entertainment programs, concerts of leading city artistic groups, as well as the film shows.

        A wide range of disability issues in Ukraine demonstrates the need for enhanced and comprehensive attention from the state and society. Forty-eighth session of the United Nations on December 20, 1993. adopted a resolution on standard rules «Equalization of opportunities means the process through which the various systems of society and the environment (services, activities and information) are made available to everyone, ESPECIALLY people with disabilities ...».

        Ukraine is one of the founding countries of the United Nations. And the position of the international community on the situation of disabled people and their place in society is a beacon for Ukraine. Therefore, despite the difficult moments in the country's economy, as for all organizations and enterprises, as well as for each person separately - a citizen of Ukraine, it is necessary to do everything possible to change the stereotypes and attitudes towards people with special physical needs. After all, as a rule, a normal day for us - just a way of life, and for them - a gift of fate, the struggle for survival.

         Traditionally, the consumption of the fish products in Ukraine grows during the autumn-winter period. The latter was already proved graphically. That`s why during this time the fresh frozen Norwegian fish supply into the Ukrainian ports increases.

         Norway is the land of mountains and fjords and is famous all over the world as a healthy fish (which is annually exported into Ukraine and other 130 countries of the world) supplier. Herring, mackerel, capelin, pollock, flounder, salmon, trout and others are the main in the list of fish products.

         One of the secrets of the Norwegian fish usefulness lies in the country natural conditions. Due to the clean waters namely that wash its shore, these products is of high quality. Not without reason Norway is called the biggest fish counter - the length of the Norwegian coastline makes up about 101 000km.

         The other, important secret of the Norwegian fish usefulness is the human factor. Norwegian fishermen are for centuries engaged into fishing. They know for sure how to catch, cultivate and keep fish in order to preserve all its useful properties. Fish grows very slowly in the cold waters, in other words, progresses rather slowly, and this influences its quality in a good way.

         Also, the ways of the fish catching and processing play an important role in the Norwegian fish usefulness.  Specially equipped vessels are used in Norway. They are able to minimize possible risks connected with both catching and processing of the raw material.

         All the mentioned above explains the fact that Ukrainians more and more want to observe namely Norwegian fish on their tables. Besides, its consumption may favorably influence the mood and relieve depression. It in great quantities contains the natural antidepressants and important for the right functioning of brain Omega-3 fatty acids.

         Now the role of prepared foods progressive way of keeping ( deep freezing, temperature regimes `-18/-25С`)is increasing . Quality storage is the master link in the chain: cultivation-production-transportation, cause without this stage the previous ones are senseless.

         That`s why it is hard to overestimate the relevance of the hi-tech  cold storage complex of the LLC TH Moreproduct company commissioning. This is an investment project that is created together with the Norwegian partners and that provides the quality long-term goods storage.

         Due to the proximity of the customs warehouse to wharf areas and roads, modern in and out works` equipment, and the team professionalism, the reefer ships and ref.containers processing  is always done with the high speed. Concerning the latter, here the captains have always been thanking the LLC TH Moreproduct company leaders.

         Soon, we`ll face the quinquennium since the following object opened its cold storage cameras for fish and meat products reception. For to-day it works as the well-oiled clock building the mutually beneficial relationship with the stevedoring companies, cementing the partnership with clients. The company leaders have plans concerning cargo handling increase, technical equipment and technological processes modernizing, - and they actively implement these plans into life.

         Thousands of people live in Nikolayev - the city ​​of shipbuilders. They differ very much but all of them are united by the love to their native city. That`s why these weekends, on 14th and 15th of September, they were happy to plunge into the festive atmosphere while celebrating the Day of Nikolayev city, which turned to be 224 years old.

         Almost all the members of the LLC TH Moreproduct team are native citizens of the Nikolayev city. That`s why they appreciate very much this annual fest dedicated to their native city. This, 2013 year wasn`t an exception - they with the children and friends, with wonderful mood visited different city areas and became the viewers of many festive programs, organized by the city leaders, members of city and regional councils. The Nikolayev citizens were presented the Ukrainian celebrities concert and the latter created soulful optimistic mood. The fireworks at the end moved everybody into a fairytale.

         The LLC TH `Moreproduct` company chairman, Nikolayev city council deputy - Igor Kachnyi, loves his city and re4spects its citizens very much. For many years already he, as the public figure, and just as the Nikolayev citizen, also takes active part in all the important city events - supports materially the organization of many festive events. And this time, the Day of the shipbuilders was in the focus of his attention as well. I.Kachnyi was happy to help the concert program organization.

         According to the results of the successful scheduled recertification audit, that took place at the cold storage terminal in May, 2013, by the «Bureau Veritas» (Denmark) head office decision, the validity term of the food safety certificate ISO 22000:2005 «Management systems for food safety. Requirements for any organization in the chain of food production and consumption», issued by LLC TH «Moreproduct» in August 2010, was extended. The next 3-year certificate № DNKFRC96757Н for the period till 2016 was received from the «Bureau Veritas» company - the leading one in the product certification sphere according to the international standards.

          A serious and demanding work was held across services and with all staff  with the implementation of food safety management at the LLC TH «Moreproduct» company. It is not limited to the development of documentation and the maintenance of order in the workplace only. In order to implement an effective system for the cold storage terminal, first of all, a training which is in the process of constant development, was held. Here the top management training, personnel performing the work affecting the safety of products entering the storage and the ones, responsible for the operational control training is meant.

           What is even more important here, - in the process of the following system implementation, the psychology of staff at all levels is changing, the understanding of the food safety issues comes. As a result of such staff development, - the responsibility of every worker increases, the amount of mistakes, - falls. And the latter itself works on the enterprise authority, strengthens consumer confidence, improves the prospects of new customers attracting.

           It is important to mention that certification of food safety management of each enterprise was held on a voluntary basis. This factor confirms the LLC TH «Moreproduct» authority aspiration to follow the regulatory requirements, food safety guarantee and increase in the confidence of consumers and regulatory bodies. Food safety certificate obtaining shows the following, - at all stages of the engineering works, held at the cold storage terminal, proper sanitary conditions in accordance with international standards and requirements are provided.

         On Wednesday, the 12^th of June 2013, the LLC TH «Moreproduct» cold storage terminal, located on the Nikolayev Commercial Sea Port territory, was visited by the Norwegian delegation led by Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine - Jon Elvedal FREDRIKSEN.

         Extended meeting-presentation took place in the conference hall of the specialized cold storage. The founders of the Norwegian company «Norway Pelagic» - the LLC TH «Moreproduct» partners, the first Nikolayev city and Nikolayev Commercial Sea Port leaders, and also the leaders of the fish importing company LLC «Klion» (LLC TH «Moreproduct» provides the services of the customs goods storage for them) were present as the foreign delegation members.

        A bit earlier the cold storage terminal guests enjoyed the boat excursion around the port water area. During this tour the port managers, in particular, the first deputy head of the port for operational and commercial matters Koltypin S.E. and deputy head of the port on the administrative and legal issues and economic security Novohatskyi A.I. provided a general description of Nikolaev sea port, its peculiarities and importance in the transport infrastructure of Ukraine and clearly showed berthing areas and their technical equipment.

        Chairman of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» Board, Igor Kachnyi, opened the meeting; he introduced the results of the cold storage terminal work from the very beginning to the guests and journalists being present. He noted that despite the difficult economic period in Ukraine, positive dynamics of all the indicators of the customs terminal is observed. This very object confidently embraces the rightful place both in the port infrastructure, enhancing its freight transport, and in the city infrastructure, being a stable source of tax payments to the treasury of the city.

         Acting Nikolayev city Mayor, Korenugin V.I. underlined that the cold storage project – is not a short-term business plan with a single aim – to get the profit. «This project is durable for many years and perspective, it is the source of stability its city budget filling. That`s why the city authority are unanimously in favor of the unused port areas being led by the effective owners, providing the job places for the citizens and stimulating the field development in general».

         Deputy Head of the port on the administrative and legal issues and economic security - Novohatskyi A.I. paid attention of the people being present to the following: the cold storage is one of the first investment projects on the port territory. And its successful functioning and further development – is an indicator of the fact that the chosen strategy to attract private investment is a right decision. That`s why the port authority is also interested in the investment climate improvement and will cooperate fully with such initiatives.

         In frames of the meeting the invited Klion company - Norwegian seafood importer, conducted the company presentation. Bobrov D.A., general manager, told the guests about the goods produced from Norwegian fish raw materials, about its manufactory capacity, technical equipment and the features of the existing warehouse storage of fishery products.

         In the final part of the conference, Jon Elvedal FREDRIKSEN, the Ambassador of Norway to Ukraine, outlined that this very meeting was very useful, because the vivid example of the effective cold storage terminal functioning shows the rightness of the partnership investment strategy. He expressed a huge desire such meetings to be more frequent, because on them we touch upon the actual topics of the interstate business relationships development, the issues connected with the foreign investments into various projects.

        On the 30^th of May 2013, Igor Kachnyi, the head of the cold storage terminal LLC TH «Moreproduct» board, was hosting his teacher - Zagoryiko Larisa Vyacheslavovna, primary Nykolaev school №34 pedagogue.

         What do the first teachers do in life of every person? After the family, relatives and friends – this is the person, from whom the pupil every day draws answers to complex questions, on whom the child`s belief in good and justice depends. A good teacher knows the child's soul and never forgets that once he or she was a child.

        Zagoryiko Larisa Vyacheslavovna is namely such a person, a teacher with a capital letter. More than 20 years she devoted to an important and necessary profession - primary school teacher, she was the growing generation mentor.

         I.Kachnyi was glad to communicate with his teacher, whom he remembers and respects very much. He thanked Larisa Vyacheslavovna for her work, professionalism, human kindness. They refreshed in their memory the native school, classmates. They shared the information about the former pupils of Zagoryiko L.V. – where do the latter live and which professions have they chosen, how have they settled their lives. But, according to Larisa Vyacheslavovna, the main thing for her, - is what kind of people they turned to become. Because the real evaluation of work for the teacher is the former pupils on-goings, the fact what kind of parents they are and whether they care for the elder generation.

          «I am proud of my pupil, of his achievements and such a growth in career. But the core thing is, - my former pupil – Igor Kachnyi – is a person far from being indifferent, the one with a big heart, who finds time and efforts to help the elder generation, children and Nykolaev citizens either in need or trouble. I dare to hope, that there is a share of my work as a teacher in this all», - Larisa Vyacheslavovna Zagoryiko said.

       In May 2013 the LLC TH «Moreproduct» cold storage terminal successfully conducted the scheduled recertification audit of the Food Safety Management System to monitor its compliance with the international ISO standard 22000:2005.

        Razumets V.N., "Bureau Veritas Certification Ukraine" representative, the leading auditor of food safety department, performed the verification at the enterprise of compliance of all mandatory elements to the ISO standard 22000:2005. During the audit procedures the monitoring of the company documentation correctness was carried out, the random personnel check was made, the correspondence of the product storage process to food standards was analyzed, including in and out fee.

       According to the audit results a certain petition was sent to the "Bureau Veritas" Headquarters (Denmark) concerning the validity term of the existing food certificate extension for the following three years (till 2016).

       The positive audit results confirm the fact that at the cold storage terminal of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» each stage of technological activity is in compliance with all the necessary procedures, the indicators of the food safety ISO 22000 standard are maintained.

       On the sunny May Day, the 9^th of 2013, thousands of the Nykolaev city inhabitants entered the central city street – Sovetskaya Street, in order to welcome the Great Patriotic War veterans. On the Upper Riverfront of the Admiral Makarov boulevard the holiday event dedicated to the Victory Day took place. The LLC TH `Moreproduct` board chairman, Igor Kachnyi, and Nykolaev City Public Rescue are the organizers of the event. 

       Being a deputy of the Nykolaev city council starting from 2002, and dedicating lots of time and efforts to this social work, I.Kachnyi knows not by hearsay  how much the combatants, war invalids, veterans need help and support. The ordinary phrase «The current generation owes a lot to these people», unfortunately, is still a phrase for many people. But it is not so for I.Kachnyi. Due to such character traits as humanity and desire to help, and while fulfilling his personal duty, I.Kachnyi, for many consecutive years helps to organize for Nykolaev citizens many significant dates in country and city life. Under his leadership there take place concert programs, the targeted assistance to the disabled and veterans is provided, letters asking for assistance from various organizations of the city are always in the focus of his attention, material and financial support to many seniors is given.

          Also, this time, on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Victory Day, I.Kachnyi provided financial assistance in the organization of the concert program and the purchase of products for «soldier`s kitchen». The actors of the Nykolaev Region Philharmonic created festive mood for the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, children of war, Nykolaev city inhabitants and guests. Next to the concert venue was a field kitchen, which treated everyone with the tasty "soldier's porridge" and "combat 100 grams." The field kitchen was provided by a military unit А-0224 (commander Colonel Shandar A.M.).

        The awards ceremony for the Ukrainian rating «Conscientious taxpayers of Ukraine» regional round winners was held on the 17^th of April 2013 in Nykolaev Theater of Musical Drama and Comedy.

         The port cold storage of the LLC TH «Moreproduct» was also called one of the Ukrainian rating regional round winners according to the results of 2012 and got the "Conscientious taxpayers of Ukraine" diploma in the sphere of trade and services.

         The fact that the company got this honorary title speaks for itself - the company performs its tax and social security liabilities responsibly and transparently, and the «Conscientious taxpayer of Ukraine» status assignment is the natural result of the following: the cold storage governing body - the Chairman of the Board Igor Kachnyi and his professional team - consistently fulfills from year to year their intentions to preserve job places, wages increase, charity provision and participation in social programs.

          Nataliya Zaporozhchenko, the Head of the territorial office of the Ukrainian Association of Taxpayers in the Nykolaev region, while handing a diploma to LLC TH «Moreproduct» director, Bernatskyi A.V., noted that namely the everyday work of the enterprises which conscientiously perform their duty to the social environment, to the workers, - is the main budget source, source of its socio-economic stability and compatriots welfare ensuring. She also underlined that the Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine will continue to maintain the high authority of the conscientious taxpayer and will contribute to the provision of the most favorable conditions for business development.

          Inna Kas`kova, the first deputy to the State Tax Service Chairman in Nykolaev Region, marked that this very rating underlines the reliability and worthiness of these enterprises, as the partners in terms of conducting any mutual business, and is a significant contribution to the tax culture development.

         The Annual Ukrainian rating «Conscientious taxpayers» was founded by the Ukrainian Social Organization «Association of taxpayers of Ukraine» aiming to create the favorable conditions for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between government and business and in order to promote the best achievements of the taxpayers.

          ADVISORY COUNCIL of "SIGN OF QUALITY" awards has acknowledged TD "Seafood" one of the winners of the International Program for Consumer Protection "SIGN OF QUALITY" for 2010. This award demonstrated to consumers, that the service provided by the company, was tested for quality and earned the approval of experts - professionals from different industries.

          Since the very beginning of its work, the directors of the storage terminal have been making steps towards achieving the highest degree of quality of provided services. A striking evidence of this is including TD "Seafood" to the register of enterprises that are qualified to the international standard ISO-22000, and recognizing the Company one of the winners of several international programs, such as "The League of the Best "and "Industry Leader».

           In order to have a significant advantage over competitors, modern enterprise must always be at the fore front by employing the latest technologies and modern equipment in their work, applying the knowledge of qualified professionals, providing high- quality goods and services, and adhering international standards.

           TD "Seafood" Team proudly accepted the award understanding that this had become possible due to the professionalism of every person in a team. This award has become a powerful stimulus for continuous sustention of high-quality services and the desire to make the storage terminal in accordance with European standards.

     On  February 21^st , 2011 LLC TH "Moreprodukt" met  honorary members of  Council of Elders under   Governor of  Nikolayev region  at their  specialized distributive refrigerator.

     A working visit of  Council of Elders took place at the  sea farming of Nikolayev region - State Enterprise "Nikolaev Sea Trade Port". Particular attention of delegation was paid to the investment projects which are to carry out on the territory of  the state enterprise «NSTP».

     Dear guests have  got acquainted with modern, European-style refrigeration  complex LLC  TH "Moreprodukt", which is strategically important object  for the region and plays an important role in construction of transport and logistics infrastructure of Ukraine as a transit state.

     The company's management  met  hospitably members of the Board and gave  an informative and interesting  presentation about  activities of the complex, which uses cutting-edge technology. It was noted that  successful operations of refrigerator bonded terminal is a factor, which influences essentially filling of the regional budget, job creation and the development of infrastructure.

     Council of Elders under  Governor of Nikolaev region, which includes 15 persons, was established as a consultative and advisory body in April 2008, for  purpose of familiarizing of a wide experience of known, honored workers of various branches of a national economy, which will help to  define  concrete ways and opportunities for  the  further development of Nikolaev.

The Norwegian investments work for the benefit of Ukrainian people.

     The company needed only one year to become one of the leaders in its field. It has given millions to the budget, a lot of jobs and high wages. This is an evident success of the project Torgovyi Dim Moreprodukt.

Investment which is protected by the state.

     Igor Kachnyi, the leader of the company, is sure that his success as a businessman is that the company, this country and separate districts use a correct investment policy. Moreover, a lot of factors contributed to the implementation of the project. Firstly - a convenient location of Nikolayev - which is a powerful transport nodal point. Secondly - people who want to develop marine infrastructure of the city. A personal support was given by Mykolay Kruglov, Deputy of Parliament of Ukraine, who is the former Chairman of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration. He recognized the strategic importance of the project for the region. A favorable investment "climate" of the region and a huge desire to carry out the project finally convinced the Norwegian investors to support the idea.

     As the result -Only three years have passed from the conception of this idea to its incarnation. The term was very short for the constructing of the totally new and more powerful company, moreover, one more negative fact was the beginning of the global economic crisis. The refrigerator complex of the European model , which was constructed thanks to mutual help of Torgovyi Dim Moreprodukt and Norwegian investments, started its work in April last year.

     This refrigerator terminal is truly unique complex. Its technical specifications indicate the magnitude and significance of the project for the region and Ukraine. It can contain up to 12 tons of frozen products and keep them within the temperature range till 26 C. The complex is perfectly safe, for not running on ammonia equipment, but on the modern freon equipment. All global standards of thestorage of frozenfood were taking into consideration when the complex was constructing. It is equipped with technology of the leading manufacturers of the cooling equipment. Setting of complex in operation helped to increase the transshipment of cargo through the port of Nikolayev foodstuffs which is appointed for Ukrainian consumers and for the markets of neighboring countries. In addition, the goods which pass the terminal are only ecologically safe. And this aspect is very important for the industrial city.

     The Norwegian investor, Arne Mogster Austevoll Sea Food, Arne Mogster said that the company had refrigerator terminals around the world, but that one was the best . Total investment into the complex was 12 millions. Its advantage is primarily the high technical level. Yes, 1 square meter withstands 10 tons of load.The power supply system is dubbed to ensure regular temperature. It guarantees safety of products even if there are some problems with electricity. Furthermore, there is one more plus -the terminal is situated 60 meters from the moor. It means that the handling of cargoes will happen quickly, without quality loss.

     - The project is very important for the region - pointed Igor Kachnyi, the chairman of the company Moreprodukt. - Firstly, the sea port can compete on equal terms with the ports of Odessa thanks to our terminal in Nikolayev. Because they (Illichivsk and Odessa) have outdated Soviet-era equipment. And there was no equipment in Nikolayev. Secondly, diversification of cargoes to the port means the emergence of alternative goods. Thirdly, the terminal has created actually its own infrastructure. That's why approximately 300 contractors such as transportation, stevedoring and shippingcompanies work with us. In their turn they have their own employees, who receive salaries thanks to work of complex. And the main point is that this object plays an important role in constructing of logistics and transport infrastructure of Ukraine as a transit country.

     There are other proofs of the success of the project which show their importance for this country. In 2010, on the Day of the entrepreneur, the head of the company Igor Kachnyi was awarded by Certificate Appreciationof Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. In the same year the company Moreprodukt has won the international economic reward "Enterprise of the year -2010".

On-line

     The workload of terminal is quiet sufficient today thanks to adjusted flows from the Norwegian investors. However, in the town of shipbuilders people understand: it is very difficult to compete with nearby Odessa as there are a lot of channels, which significantly increase the cost of transit to ports of Nikolayev. But Moreprodukt has found a way out of difficult situation. It has offered modern services of a new qualitative level to their potential customers. It has attracted a lot of clients.

     The matter is, that the complex is a warehouse itself; it has a license which allows keeping goods without customs clearance. And if it is necessary, the goods can be immediately shipped to the customers. The whole system of work with clients was thought out very thoroughly, that's why customers don't have to go to different cabinets to receive certificates from veterinary services, brokers or the other agents as there is everything on the territory of terminal: customs and veterinary posts.

     Moreover, there is no need for customers to attend the territory of port, as the company takes charge of ship agency, freight forwarding, customs clearance, certification and furtherlogistics inUkraine. That is to say, a person gets a full package of necessary documents" in one window". Besides that, a client of the company can be in any location of the worldand with the help of the Internet keep an eye on loading(shipment) of products. In such a way he can save his own costs.

     If a client wants personally to control the entire process, he can use one more possibility - there is an office space, a comfortable conference room with all communications and a dining room on the territory of terminal.

In interests of the consumers

     Basic cargoes of Moreprodukt correspond to their names - fish and fish products. Norwegian fish is the best in Europe and all over the world. The partners of Nikolaev firm"Atlantіcpelagіc AS" - is the company which has 80% of world fishmeal market, 40% of salmon, great fish quotas of mackerel and herring. The Norwegian company is a manufacturer and supplier. Norwegian quality standards are the highest in the world. All products are organic and taken from the Northern seas. Salmon, of course, is grown on farms, but its food is organic as well, the food to which it used in the wild. We are obliged to the Norwegian company and Moreprodukt, because only the top level fish is served for inhabitance of this country and their visitors. By the way, Moreprodukt is the only enterprise in its sphere, which is in conformity with standards of food safety. The terminal has received a certificate of international standard.

     One more care of consumers is a pricing. Why is the price of meat and fish still growing? Igor Stalinolenovych has an answer - a constant deficit which exists in the domestic market was covered at the expense of import. For the last two years import has declined at least twice. At the same time the deficit was not reduced because domestic producers are unable to supply the needs of customers in full. It touches upon food and other products. So there must be an efficient state regulation of needs in consumption and the ways of meeting them. If there is an outstanding deficit, we should not put obstacles in the form of additional import duty for product not to get on the territory of this country. It will get there for sure, but the price will be much higher. And as the result we have a rise of price and inflation.

     However, IgorKachnyi issurethat tendency for stabilization of theeconomyisobvious. For him as for the head of the enterprise, who works with foreign partners, the positive is especially noticeable in the currency area. The main thing is that there is no sharp fluctuations in the dollar. For example, a businessman has taken $ 1 million loan with 5 UAH per dollar, and he had to pay off twice as much. And we have that someone had earned money by means of speculation, consequently Ukrainian business has suffered.

In terms of practice

     There are some problems with the small-scale business in Ukraine, it shows their ambitions striking in the streets. And the business which is the core of the whole budget doesn't strike in the streets - it just works and provides jobs for those who want to work. But its point of view is very interesting as for the notorious Codes.

     Thus, in 1998, when the decision as for government incentives companies was taking, I.Kachnyi is sure that it was the way out of the difficult situation in the country. But at that time a lot of companies that optimize taxes by means of private entrepreneurs, for which the part of their working capital is transferred. For example, the company has 10 entrepreneurs, each of them has the circulation 500 thousand UAH. It is 5 million. Each of ten has paid taxes 200 UAH, that is 2000 in total. Two thousand five million. And no problems.

     Entrepreneurs provide themselves with jobs and earnings in times of difficult economic situation, that's why the simplified tax system has the right to exist, but it should be improved. And if these changes had taken place several years ago, they would not have been noticed. But today the situation is very useful for politicians.

     Last year, Moreprodukt has taken the 8th place concerning the level of salary in Ukraine (by the way, now the average salary of employee is 5600 UAH).But there is one more vivid example. The company pays 530 UAH of the income tax and 1496 UAH in the pension and other social funds for an employee who receives salary 3000 UAH. The total price is 2026 UAH! But a private enterprise pays nothing. And it turns out that a person receives a pension owing to employees of other companies. Where is a justice?

     The crucial problem is the theme of the Customs Code. Even under the current code our companies which have direct contracts with their foreign partners and from which they get production, receive export declarations confirming the price. For example, the products were released at a price of $ 1000. per ton. There is a confirmation of the customs service from the country which sends this product that this is a direct contract, the company is not offshore. In this case, according to the current Code, the Declaration is enough to accept an introduced price. But we have an internal customs base, where prices significantly differ from actual. What's happening? The company has acquired the product for $ 1000., the base price is 3000 $. Accordingly, taxes should be paid for 3000 $ , but not for $ 1000. VAT is not $ 200, but 600. And again, who has to pay off additional costs? Sure thing - the consumer. This example shows that the laws should be followed. There is a direct contract and export declaration. The given price should be taken.

     The real business is not demanding. It does not ask for anything and does not complain. It just thinks that the state should understand: if it is a well-established business, it is a partner of the state.

     August 12, 2010 LLC Trading House "Moreproduct" was included into the register of companies that meet the requirements of international food safety standards ISO - 22000 under the index DNKFRC9295511 by the decision of the head office "Bureau Veritas" in Denmark - a leading company in the field of product certification according to international standards.

     LLC Trading House "Moreproduct" received a Standard Certificate.

     The company put into effect the position "Policy on Food Safety Management".

     ISO 22000 - management system based on internationally recognized principles, so receiving of the certificate ISO 22000 means:

• demonstration of our commitment to produce safe food;
• providing of declared quality and safety in accordance with customers expectations;
• using of precautionary management measures, rather than late control;
• improving staff competence and responsibility, and consequently reduce of mistakes;
• improving documentation and document flow;
• strengthening the authority of the company and enhance its reputation;
• optimization of relationships with suppliers, customers and regulatory agencies, increasing confidence of potential partners;
• risk monitoring on a constant basis, developing and implementation means of control.

       During the certification audit on 14.07.2010 the lead auditor from “Bureau Veritas" Zvon A.V. noticed the high quality of the developed documents in preparation for certification on international food safety standards ISO - 22000:2005 and especially - conducting of internal audits.

       Documents and conclusion on the right to receive an international certificate of food safety were sent to the headquarters of the “Bureau Veritas" in Denmark, its presentation is planned to 15.08.2010.

     The State has identified LLC "Trading House "Moreproduct" as one of the industry leaders. It fixed by government statistical agencies of Ukraine on the basis of statistical reporting. The company got the National Certificate, "Industry Leader 2009" award, and top management of the company was submitted for status-award - "Professional of the Branch".

      National Business Rating (NBR) - a comprehensive rating program, that determines the true leaders of Ukraine economy, based on official data of State Statistics. During five years more than 300 000 enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership had been ranked by NBR by four criteria:

          1) "volume of sales";
          2) "net income";
          3) "salaries";
          4) "productivity".

     Rating system is a clear, transparent and excludes participation of outsiders and random enterprises.

     LLC "Trading House "Moreproduct" took honorable eighth place by "Salaries" criteria in 2009.

Today in Nikolaev Sea Trading Port was held the ceremony of opening of new refrigerating complex Trading House "Moreproduct", where the Minister of Transport and Communication Joseph VINSKY was present. The Minister noted that this refrigeration complex is the most modern in the CIS. 

The capacity of the new refrigerating terminal is 12 000t with a temperature down to -26 ⁰C. Investments into construction exceeded 12 mln USD. As the Deputy Minister, Head of the State Sea and River Administration Michael CHUBAI noted, there are 50% of foreign and 50% of Ukrainian investments. Among the investors of the complex Trading House "Moreproduct" there is the Norwegian group «Norwey Pelagic AS». 

During the ceremony it was announced, that the complex will allow to increase cargo transloading of the foodstuff through the Nikolaev port intended both for Ukraine and for transit.

Sea refrigerating terminal in the NSTP provides with services in cargoes transloading from vessels, rail, and auto transport to the warehouse and from the warehouse, shipping agents and forwarding services, customs clearance, broker services, cargo insurance services, delivery of cargoes on releases of the supplier, cargo sorting and palletizing. There are also veterinarian and custom inspector posts.

According to SeaNews, in NSTP, the shareholders of this project are Trading House "Moreproduct" and Norwegian Group «Norwey Pelagis AS».

The capacity of the new refrigerating terminal is 12 000t. The expected volume of cargo transloading is 120 00t annually.
